Charles Limbrick's body was found in the woods at 10600 Spotsylvania Avenue around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, Spotsylvania County Sheriff Roger Harris said.
That particular area of the woods is known to be frequented by the homeless, the sheriff said.
The discovery was made by a citizen collecting cans for recycling, Harris said.
Limbrick is believed to have died of natural causes, and his body had been there for more than a month, authorities said. No foul play was suspected.
